Are Porkcicles Pork Shanks?

Porkcicles. Eaten at Fatboys Grille in Florence, AL. These look like POPcicles, hence the name. I've done much research and think I have found out that they are trimmed down pork shanks. I am wanting to find these, but am having a hard time. I've been told they are a fairly new restaurant item, I'm wanting to try smoking some up. Any ideas?
