BBQ Cooking School

If one of your lifelong fantasies is to attend a bbq cooking school, one of the best is taught by Chef Paul Kirk, who is a seven-time winner of the World Championship of BBQ, in addition to over 400 other cooking awards.

Chef Paul, the Kansas City Baron of Barbeque, teaches his culinary cooking classes on location across the continent. This year the classes kick off on April 19th in Langley, B. C., Canada, and winds down to a stop on December 12th in Prairieville, Louisiana, near Baton Rouge.

To sign up for one of the classes, check out the class schedule, where you can e-mail the appropriate contact for the cooking class that interests you.

You'll receive information back that lets you know what equipment to bring with you, the cost of the class, and what to expect during your day of hands-on bbq school training.

Cooking students are grouped in pairs, learning the secrets of creating great bbq, and actually doing the preparation and cooking along the way.

I plan to attend one of the cooking classes later on this year. And if you're serious about your barbeque, Chef Paul Kirk's School of Pit Masters is a worthwhile investment in your cooking skills.
