Beef Jerky Cooked In a Smoker
by: SmokerBill

A smoker can be used to make beef jerky, but it does best if the smoker temperature can be kept down between 160 to 180 degrees. And since you want to dry the jerky more than cook it, be sure there's plenty of ventilation provided. Open vents fully, or with an electric smoker, offset the lid, or set it up on sticks.
