Double Chocolate Brownies

If you love chocolate, you're gonna love these double chocolate brownies. This is a unique recipe that has no cocoa whatsoever. All of the chocolatey flavor comes from semi-sweet chocolate chips. It's rich and satisfying, and I think I'm going to make some right now!

One cup melted butter
Four eggs
One and one-half cups flour
One teaspoon vanilla
One cup brown sugar
One cup white sugar
One tablespoon salt
Four cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine the butter, eggs and sugar until well blended. Mix in the salt and vanilla. Stir in the flour, being careful not to overwork it. Stir in two cups of the chocolate chips.

Spread the batter in a greased and floured 9" x 13" cake pan. Next, the remaining two cups of chocolate chips go directly on top of the batter.

Place the pan in a preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit grill, using the indirect grilling method. After 35 minutes, check the brownies with a toothpick. If some of the wet batter comes up along with the melted chocolate chips, close the lid and give it another 10 minutes.

Remove and allow to cool a little so you don't burn the roof of your mouth. Cold milk is essential as a chaser!

This recipe for double chocolate brownies can be baked just as easily in the oven, but it might not taste quite as good. Everything seems to taste better when it's grilled!
