Electric Smoker Temperature Not Hot Enough

I have an electric bullet smoker and am wondering how to get the temperature to go higher. I have cooked pork butts but can't get their internal temperature high enough to be able to shred the meat. When I take it off it's cooked through, but not shreddable.

Too Fast

You are cooking it to fast and too hot, slow and long is the way. Temp should not be higher than 215 degrees. Slow and Low is the best way.
