Yes and it's a good idea. I've read the smoking process that a commercial turkey smoking business uses, and they use a lot of orange juice in their injectable marinade.
Just use orange juice/citrus juice mixed with seasonings and some oil. Whisk it up to mix in the oil. Then just inject it into the bird.
Don't let the chicken wait too long before smoking, especially if you use a lot of lemon or lime juice. They are very acidic and will start to break down the proteins in the meat.
