Rocky mountain oysters, prairie oysters, cowboy caviar, Montana tendergroins, swinging beef...mmm, I'm gettin' hungry!
Last time I had mountain oysters it was at an all you can eat buffet in Oakley Kansas, and they were fried. I've never seen them any other way, but I suppose they could be brined, or flavored some other way and smoked or grilled. I'm just not sure that I'd like the looks of them without the breading hiding what they really are.
