Fresh Hams in the Smoker
by: SmokerBill

Any good basic dry rub or brine that's good for pork will be good on a fresh ham. Since the ham is lean it should be cooked only up to 155 to 160 degrees.

(I'm assuming you're talking about hind leg hams, not the front leg picnic ham, which is fatty and need to be cooked differently)
